With less than one week to go, the rugby community at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas waits in anticipation for the arrival of several schools from across the south and Mexico that will attend the 11th ANNUAL JESUIT DALLAS HIGH SCHOOL RUGBY SHOWDOWN to be held on MARCH 13TH - 14TH, 2010.

What started in 2000 as a tournament exclusively for Jesuit schools has become a great success drawing teams from a variety of schools across several states and North America including Canada and Mexico. The commitment of the rugby community and the administration at Jesuit Dallas is reflected in the growth and success of the tournament. Additionally, the success of the tournament owes to the support of Knockout Sportswear (KO), which has been committed to rugby and the Jesuit College Prep program for over ten years and believes that the growth of the sport lies with “Grassroots Rugby” (youth and high school).

Throughout this journey Knockout Sportswear (KO) has helped to promote and foster a relationship with the event and the programs which attend. This year they have signed up to be the event’s title sponsor. As part of their commitment Knockout Sportswear (KO) will provide the tournament champions with a new set of customized team jerseys for their program. Knockout (KO) would like teams to be aware of the quality of products and customer service they provide to the rugby community.

The entry fee for the tournament is $5 for adults and $3 for children for each day. Games kick off on Saturday, March 13th at 9:00 a.m. with a junior varsity match between Jesuit Dallas and Instituto de Ciencias (Guadalajara, México). All games will be played at Haggar Stadium on the campus of Jesuit Dallas, located at 12345 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas 75244.
