A bicep injury to Bath hooker Lee Mears has resulted in an England call-up for Harlequins' Chris Brooker who will join coach Stuart Lancaster's squad ahead of the Six Nations clash with Wales this weekend.
Mears is still struggling with an injury that he picked up in his team's 14-11 defeat to Gloucester and as a result Brooker has been asked to join the squad at their training base in Surrey ahead of the clash at Twickenham on Saturday.
The 25-year-old England Saxons player has been in good form for the league leaders this season and featured in their 16-14 victory over the Worcestor Warriors last weekend.
