I won’t go into the time it has taken to secure the Churchill Cup in Denver, but now that it is secured for 2009, we have a limited time to produce a great event and ensure we can host it again in the future.
Tickets are going on sale this week, along with the already released international games against Ireland, Wales and Canada.
I know plenty of people read my blog, so why don’t you let me know what it’s going to take to get you to travel to Denver, Chicago, Santa Clara and Charleston?
Yes, the games will be broadcast on Setanta (Churchill Cup and Ireland), ESPN Classic (Wales and Super League Final) and ESPN2 (Canada), but watching live rugby on TV comes second best to the experience of actually being there!
What is it that makes you get onto the internet and buy your tickets, book a flight, hotel, etc? And, how can I make this process easier for you?
What additional information would help you to make the decision on if you attend?
We have already started promoting our events to the local communities, and we hope many will be coming to a rugby game for the first time, but we want to develop a group of supporters that follow the Eagles everytime they play.
We have some exciting young players, a new coach and a team that is steadily improving. They are great ambassadors for the game and will mature as a team this summer, your support will help them achieve their goals.
I look forward to your comments…..
